Notes to a young pastor

A very familiar passage is important that a pastor, in order to fulfill their ministry, must be true to the Word of God and preach the word faithfully.  The Word must be preached "in season" (when are expecting it) and "out of season (when people don't expect it or even want to hear it). 

The truth of the Bible is not to be taken out of context.  The Literal truth is not an allegory, but something that the Holy Spirit wants us to understand and apply in our daily lives.
